The Founder’s Story

The seed for Peak Electric grew from my rural Tennessee childhood, where the vast horizon embodied limitless potential. Despite the boundless possibilities, the absence of a father presented challenges. Each mistake along my journey became a steppingstone toward realizing my entrepreneurial goal. Nurtured by my loving mother's unwavering support, the idea of creating my own business took root, fueled by enduring entrepreneurial spirit.

Fearing that staying in Tennessee would hinder my dreams and potentially lead me astray, I took a leap of faith and enlisted in the Navy at the age of 20, seeking a sense of purpose and adventure. My journey took me deep beneath the surface as I found myself stationed on a submarine, navigating the depths of the oceans.

My time in the Navy allowed me to escape my circumstances and changed my life. I learned discipline and integrity – qualities that would later define my entrepreneurial journey. As my Navy chapter closed, I found myself at a crossroads, and with newfound determination, I enrolled at Southern Maine Community College.

Diving into plumbing and electrical studies, I took the opportunity to explore both fields. Fate, however, had its plans, and I found myself hired as an electrician. I fell in love with electrical work and realized it was exactly where I belonged.

Peak Electric isn't just a business; it's my pledge to our community. Peak Electric takes an active role in community events in order to make a positive impact right here, right now. We can make a difference together.

The name, Peak Electric, isn't merely a title; it carries profound symbolism. Just as a mountain's peak represents the summit we strive to reach physically; Peak Electric embodies the constant journey of reaching higher within ourselves. Like navigating the ups and downs of a mountain, life presents challenges and triumphs, and through it all, Peak Electric symbolizes the continuous climb toward personal and professional excellence. - Rich Brown, Owner
